Employee of the Year 2013

David has been awarded Employee of the Year. Throughout 2013, David continually showed a willingness to ‘Exceed Expectations’ and delivered a personal performance which not only enhanced the DC’s operations, but also supported many other departments throughout the company.

David played an integral part in several key events in the year, such as ensuring the company’s service level was maintained through a power cut in July by liaising with our I.T. and lift systems providers to ensure that minimum disruption to the delivery operations was achieved.

Also in April and August, as a result of carrier breakdown, he personally drove the Irish customer goods to the carrier’s Warrington branch after his shift had ended, arriving back at 1am.

David’s achievements this year have shown that he is a strong, dependable team player who possesses the work ethic to support FTUK’s operating procedures and goals. His willingness
to assist fellow colleagues across many departments was impeccable and overall, his performance truly merits the recognition of Employee of the Year.
