Services provided to customers include the design, manufacture and testing of Hose Assemblies for small bore Hydraulic to large diameter Industrial Hose, together with Breathing Air Hose assemblies to EN139.
Vitassem offers a full range of products from leading hose and fittings manufacturers to industries including; Oil and Gas, Agriculture, Construction & Plant Hire and Rail.

Assemblies
Hydraulic hose assemblies from ¼” ID up to 2” ID
Industrial hose assemblies from ½” ID up to 8” ID
Tube Manipulation & Welding
Facility to bend various sizes of stainless steel, mild steel and copper tubing via our fully automated tube manipulation process.
Automatic - Fully automated 300 tube single run, max length 600mm.
• up to 15.5mm
• 6mm – 20mm ST/ST
• 6mm – 22mm Mild steel.
Semi automatic - The EB1000 is an electronic 3 axis CNC precision bending machine. Up to 22mm.
Threading
Fast efficient threading to BSPT and NPT standards. From ¼” – 4”. Close and barrel nipple or bespoke length tubes.
Pressure Testing
2 Hydrostatic test units
Capable of testing hydraulic hose assemblies up to 1,600 BAR. 5 hoses can be tested at a time with test reports being available
Nitrogen Unit
Capable of testing air and water assemblies up to 30 Bar using Nitrogen submerged under water for leak detection.
Swaging
Ability to swage 1 wire to 6 wire and 1/8” to 6” hydraulic hose. A more robust clamping system for industrial assemblies from 2” – 6” offers even further confidence in the products being used / sold.
Kitting
A range of bespoke kits which comprise of a series of parts, amalgamated or assembled into a kit and sold under one part number
Pin Pricked Hose
Specific service enabling hydraulic hose to be pricked prior to use in compressed air and gas applications
Walform
System enabling the mechanical cold re-shaping of tube ends, reducing any risk of material split experienced via traditional heat manipulation methods. The machine uses a conventional DIN fitting body and a DIN nut which guarantees an absolutely leak-proof seal. A lower tightening torque compared to other cutting-ring tube fitting systems enables shorter assembly times and an overall reliable assembly.
Manufacturing and support systems operate to BFPDA approval and are ISO 9001:2008 compliant, ensuring quality is built in every step.
